Maintaining heart health with nuts

Walnuts and nuts are popular with many people because they taste good and can be eaten between meals without fattening you up. Not to mention they are high in fibre, which makes them easy to fill you up, so you’ll be less hungry at your next meal.

Walnuts are a rich source of unsaturated fatty acids and nutrients. So not only are they delicious and tasty, they are also extremely healthy. Eat small portions at a time as the calorie content is not exactly low.

Many people are in a certain risk group when it comes to heart attacks. Risk factors include stress, obesity, smoking and an inactive lifestyle. One study reported that we can significantly reduce the risks by eating a healthy diet and regularly consuming nuts and nuts.

Research shows that nuts have many health benefits. It has a role in lowering LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels, which is good news because if these lipids are deposited as plaques in the arteries, there is a greater chance of not only heart attack but also stroke.

Walnuts are also rich in vitamin E, which can also reduce the formation of plaque in the arteries, which is known to cause chest pain, heart attacks and coronary heart disease.

Walnuts are rich in plant sterols, which are also actively involved in lowering cholesterol. In addition, it is also rich in L-arginine, which can also prevent the formation of blood clots.
