Beauty, naturalness and oils

Posted on November 16, 2022

Oils have played a prominent role in beauty care since ancient Egypt. Not only women, but also men were fond of using them for skin care and hair health. Nowadays, more and more people are going back to their roots and using natural methods, which is very good and useful, because the more natural things we use in our beauty care, the less we poison ourselves, because cosmetics and beauty products are full of harmful substances.

The more we use these products over the years, the greater the chance of getting diseases. Oils are good for our skin, hair and of course our health. Let’s see what some oils are good for and what they can be used for!

The marula tree is indigenous to South Africa and its fruit is used to make marula oil. Marula oil is extremely rich in fatty acids and is incredibly soothing to dry and irritated skin. It absorbs quickly and does not leave an oily feeling after application.

If our pores become dilated, it can become a breeding ground for dirt and bacteria. This is usually the case for people with oily skin. This is when tea tree oil can be of help, as it can be effective against blackheads and inflammation caused by blackheads.

Argan oil is not called liquid gold for nothing. Not only does it look like liquid gold in appearance, it is also so useful and valuable. Argan oil is rich in antioxidants. Polyphenol antioxidants effectively fight aging. Argan oil is packed with valuable omega-3 fatty acids, which are very active in collagen production, effectively fighting skin ageing.

Chamomile oil also has a soothing effect on the skin. It also has very good anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects, as well as reducing irritation, redness and can be used when you have developed a skin infection.

Peppermint oil, like chamomile oil, has soothing properties, so it is also a good oil to turn to in cases of skin inflammation.

If you have dry, cracked skin, coconut oil can also be used. This oil not only soothes dry and dehydrated skin, but can also be used for eczema.
