Onion oil can not only add a pleasant flavour to your food, but can also be a great beauty treatment. It can be useful if you suffer from various hair problems, be it hair loss, slow hair growth or even premature greying. Onion oil is not unknown in Ayurvedic medicine, it has many positive effects and can be used not only for hair care. In this article we will look at the positive effects of onion oil on hair.

It contains a lot of nutrients that reduce the dryness of the scalp, which is often the cause of dandruff. To get rid of dandruff, massage a little onion oil into your scalp once or twice a week.

This special oil also supports hair growth, as it not only increases blood circulation to the scalp, but also provides the hair with proper conditioning. Put a little onion oil on the tip of your finger and massage your scalp in this way.

Onion oil can also stop hair loss. Onions are rich in sulphur compounds, which is a component of keratin, the hair protein responsible for hair growth. Onion oil can therefore be used to treat hair loss and hair fragmentation.

Onion oil can also be relied on in case of scalp infections, as it has strong antibacterial properties. It is effective in fighting infections affecting the scalp and can prevent dandruff and the resulting itching.

If you suffer from early graying, regular use of onion oil can be a good solution for you too. It contains essential vitamins, minerals and powerful antioxidants, nutrients that help prevent premature ageing and greying of the hair. Regular use also improves hair quality.

How to use it? In a bowl, pour onion oil, add coconut oil and a few drops of rosemary essential oil in the amount you like. Massage this oil into your scalp and you can also apply it to the length of your hair. Leave it on for at least 30 minutes and then wash your hair. You can also leave it on overnight.
