Body odour can be caused by many things. One of the most common causes of bad body odour is bacteria in the armpits. You can also use vinegar to solve the problem. Vinegar lowers the pH of the body, thus reducing the chances of bacteria overgrowth. You can also use vinegar by adding a little to your bath water, or by applying a mixture of water and vinegar to your armpits.
A mixture of lemon and baking soda can also help to minimise unpleasant body odour. To half a cup of baking soda, add the juice of a freshly squeezed lemon and pour it into the bath water. The other method is to make a paste of lemon and baking soda and apply it to your underarms.
Tea tree oil has antiseptic properties. It can also be used as a deodorant, as it is very effective in killing bacteria in the hairline. Tea tree oil can also be used on its own, but be sure to choose an essential oil that is 100% pure.
You can also make a natural deodorant. Mix witch hazel water with a few drops of sage, tea tree, pine and coriander essential oils. Pour this mixture into a spray bottle and use it as if it were just a store-bought deodorant.
If you’re using nutrition to combat sweating, eat vegetables that are high in chlorophyll, as chlorophyll is very effective at controlling sweating. Green leafy vegetables such as spinach and cabbage are rich in chlorophyll.
