Dizziness is a very unpleasant complaint, as it can often feel like the whole world is spinning around you. Dizziness can be triggered by many things, from simple, trivial causes that we can change ourselves, to serious illnesses.
What are the possible causes of dizziness? One of the causes is a shifting of the so-called crystals in the inner ear. Dizziness can also be caused by an infection in the ear, head trauma, eye problems, heart disease, brain tumours, anaemia and thyroid disease.
Other common causes of dizziness include dehydration, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, musculoskeletal disorders, and inadequate blood supply to the brain.
You can try simple, cheap methods at home if you already know the cause of dizziness and it turns out that it is not caused by a serious illness.
Getting enough and enough quality sleep every day is one of the most important steps we can take to make dizziness a thing of the past, because if we don’t get enough sleep or wake up several times a night, we will not only be sleepy and tired the next day, but we will also experience dizziness.
Dehydration can also be a cause of dizziness. Always drink enough fluids, which can be herbal teas, water and vegetables or juices. These drinks not only hydrate the body, but also replenish it with nutrients, i.e. vitamins.
If someone experiences dizziness after sitting or lying down – when standing up – they should only get up from lying or sitting positions very carefully.
Regular consumption of ginger can also help a lot to remedy the problem. It can be eaten raw, grated into water or as a tea. Ginger is also very effective in relieving nausea, vomiting and nausea.
Almonds can also help to solve the problem of dizziness. Grind some almonds, add them to warm milk and drink it. Almonds not only provide energy but can also reduce the symptoms of dizziness.
